American consumers begin to change their iPhone more often and buy new devices. This has been reported by AppleInsider related to research on consumer intelligence partners (CIRP).
Analysts analyzed the purchasing of US residents in December 2024 and found that many Apple smartphones owners updated their devices. Based on these data, they found that in the year, the percentage of users updated their iPhone once a year increased from 7 to 9 percent.
The proportion of the owner of a smartphone device every two years increases from 24 to 27 percent. In contrast, the percentage of consumers changing their iPhone every two years decreases from 33 to 30 percent, every three years – from 36 to 33 percent. Based on this information, they concluded that users from the United States began to change their devices more often.
CIRP experts believe that American users start buying new smartphones more often due to sales and stocks. In addition, consumer actions are affected by the transaction program, which you can exchange benefits for the old iPhone for a new and installment program.
On February 13, the head of Apple Group Tim Cook announced the presentation of utilities on February 19. It is expected that on this day, the US company will introduce iPhone SE 4 generation.
