Geneva, February 12./ Tass /. The Swiss Federal Council (Government) decided to allocate 1.5 billion dong of Swiss Franc (US $ 1.65 billion) to recover Ukraine from 2025 to 2028 as part of the 12 -month program to support. According to the Government, about one -third of this amount – 500 million Swiss francs – designed to carry out the work of restoring cooperation with Swiss companies.
On April 10, 2024, the Federal Council decided until 2036 to provide Kyiv with financial support with a total value of 5 billion Franc (US $ 5.55 billion). According to the Government, the Union has provided Ukraine about 3 billion francs ($ 3.3 billion) to the restoration of the country and other measures taken for the benefit of Ukrainian citizens. Specifically, the State Secretariat on migration was allocated about 2.5 billion francs (about 2.8 billion dollars) for the reception and support of Ukrainian refugees.
