Samsung Electronics reviewed its semiconductor strategy, considering the possible changes in leadership and distribution of employees. The company has faced the difficult competition from Taiwan's TSMC and is trying to strengthen its market position.

According to insiders, in January, Samsung started a detailed audit on the LSI part of the system, developing chips. Once completed, it is planned to verify the same about the production of semiconductor contracts (casting workshop).

This step is the first major internal test since the establishment of a special management department in November 2023. The new agency was created to support a difficult business.

Experts believe that the audit can lead to serious restructuring Samsung strategy in the production of system chips. This segment was determined by Lee Zhe Yong as the president of the company as one of the important growth areas in 2019 as part of the system semiconductor initiative of 2030.
